Early Career Researcher Bursaries Available

**DEADLINE EXTENSION UNTIL FEB 19th**

On behalf of the organising and program committees, we are excited to invite authors to submit abstracts for presentation at the 5th International Patellofemoral Pain Research Retreat, to be held on the Gold Coast, Australia from July 18-20, 2017.

This biennial meeting is focused on sharing and discussing new developments in patellofemoral research.  The retreat-like atmosphere facilitates discussion, debate, and formulation of consensus statements that are later disseminated at the Clinical Symposium (to be held after the retreat on July 22, 2017) and in high-profile publications.  Retreat participants are engaged in the program as session moderators and discussion leaders.  As such, attendance at the retreat is limited to those who are presenting scientific papers.

We invite submission of abstracts relating to all areas of patellofemoral pain (PFP) and patellofemoral osteoarthritis (PF OA).  This includes, but is not limited to, studies evaluating diagnostic criteria, biomechanics, risk factors, evaluation of treatment outcomes, and prognosis.  Please be mindful that the focus of this meeting is on non-surgical approaches to treatment.  In keeping with the purpose of iPFRR17 – to share new developments in patellofemoral research – we ask that submitted abstracts have not been previously published in a peer-reviewed journal at the time of abstract submission.

Abstracts must follow the template provided, which is accessible via the link below.  Details regarding abstract content, formatting guidelines and file naming are provided in this document.
