De Quervein’s tenosynovitis, which is a type of thumb pain, is often triggered by overuse and irritation of the tendons at the base of the thumb. This can impact upon an individual’s ability to participate in sports and perform normal activities of daily living. Currently, there are limited clinical outcome measures available for clinicians to monitor progressions/changes in an individual’s presentation. Therefore this study aims to develop a sensitive and specific outcome measure for De Quervein’s tenosynovitis. This study will utilise online questionnaires to help develop an outcome measure for clinical use. This will improve monitoring of patient’s progress through treatment.
