Australian Centre for Research into Injury in Sport and its Prevention (ACRISP)
Clinical research at La Trobe Sport and Exercise Research centre (LASEM)
ACRISP conducts research across a range of injury in sport and exercise. Our research aims to understand injury better, to improve the diagnosis and management of injuries and to look at the person with the injury. ACRISP clinical research is conducted with LASEM research, the scope to this research is captured in the overall aims of the sport and exercise research. As a result, more people will have the opportunity to participate in sport and physical activity, affording them a healthier lifestyle.
ACRISP is one of only ten centers worldwide to be selected by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to be a member its Medical Research Network.
ACRISP collaborates with local, national, and international partners.
